Irial took a few quick, shallow breaths. They were surrounded by soldiers. The soldiers were all on horseback and every single horse was golden with a mane and tail of white. There must have been fifty or more men towering over them. The men's gear was as assorted as Luke and Joplin's. Some wore silver, plumed helms, others helmets shaped like pie tins. The other was short and seemed slightly more collected with close cut brown hair and a pair of round spectacles in front of light brown eyes.
